The Ecobee Smart Doorbell Camera is a smart home security system unit equipped with a 175-degree vertical view camera. It can stream a live view to Ecobee Smart Thermostat through low energy communication system of BT 5.0 and 2.4/5 GHz WiFi. The camera is built with six lenses, two of them are made of plastic, four of them are made of glass. It contains an IR Cut Filter module and a 5 MP CMOS image sensor. Its declared video quality is 1080p. The device is equipped with night vision lights, low voltage I2C ambient light sensor, and 24 GHz Radar detection sensor which allow live monitoring and quick notifications about changes in the near home surroundings.
