Shipments of Connected TV devices in the Central and Latin America region declined marginally by 1% year-on-year in Q1 2023 as growth in game console sales was offset by a fall in demand for media streaming players. Samsung continued to dominate the smart TV category followed by LG and TCL. In terms of OS Samsung's Tizen lead the overall connected TV device category with 27% share, followed by the fast growing Android TV/Google TV platform on 21%.
