Explore Arm’s Lumex CSS Platform with Armv9.3 architecture, SME2 AI acceleration, scalable CPU and GPU design, and 3nm-optimized performance.

Arm’s Lumex CSS Platform introduces a new generation of mobile compute architecture for flagship smartphones and ultralight PCs. It builds on the foundation of CSS for Client with a restructured compute subsystem based on the Armv9.3 architecture. New CPU and GPU families are organized into performance tiers, offering clearer segmentation and improved scalability across device classes. AI acceleration is enabled by Scalable Matrix Extension 2 (SME2), which allows shared matrix computation across CPU clusters and delivers significant improvements in latency and throughput for on-device workloads handled by CPU cores. The Arm Lumex CSS Platform continues the company’s strategy of delivering integrated CPU, GPU, and system IP alongside early software enablement. As with CSS for Client, Lumex CSS supports hardened implementations optimized for the latest 3nm process nodes, helping partners accelerate development while retaining flexibility for custom silicon designs.
