The TechInsights Auto Semi Index declined 7.0% quarter-on-quarter, as the automotive supply chain continued to adjust for inventory overhang. However, there were signs that the demand for automotive semiconductors is returning. This was reflected in individual company results in the Auto Semi Index rankings. Despite recording a slight drop, Qualcomm maintained the top spot of the Auto Semi Index. ADI had an excellent quarter, reflected by the company displacing Micron into third place. Infineon was also a strong performer, regaining the fourth spot in the Auto Semi rankings. Texas Instruments rounded out the top five rankings. Rohm re-entered the Auto Semi Index rankings and placed eighth overall, ahead of Renesas and STMicroelectronics, who registered declines in their respective quarter-on-quarter Auto Semi Index scores.
